Privacy
Short version: the almanac doesn’t ask who you are, and we don’t track you.
The app
- There are no accounts to create.
- There are no ads, and no analytics or tracking tools.
- Your ZIP code is stored on your iPhone only, to work out your hardiness zone and frost dates. It is not sent to us.
- The plant pages are built into the app, so reading them needs no internet connection.
- Purchases go through Apple. We don’t see your payment details.
This website
This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics. Its fonts and images are served from the site itself. It is hosted on GitHub Pages, which may keep standard server logs such as IP addresses; see GitHub’s privacy statement for how they handle them.
If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply. We don’t share them or add you to a mailing list.
